Hmm, how about a turbo on a lawn mower? Would it work (obviously ludicrously expensive)?

Hypothetically couldn’t you just buy a tiny one from eBay and plumb it up? I thought there was an analog way to slap them on carbs

My stepdad builds engines and has a parts business that includes headers. At one point we were switching welders and had to go pick up the pipes and jigs. He told me to go check out the zero turn in the pole barn. I sauntered on over and this is what I saw. There’s an old Powerdyne centrifugal blower bolted on the thing.

Watched this the other night. The thing that killed me was, after all that, he doesn’t talk at all about the supercharger install! WTF?
But I do think it’s crazy that there’s a company that exists to make parts to hop up cheap HF engines.

He did put a comment on his video with the link to the one for the supercharger :
And while i appreciate the aftermarket parts for Chinese engines , using the billet parts seems a little bit over the top.
F or more than 1000$ in billet parts (not to mention the 700$ for the engine itself ) you could buy a used bike engine which will be similar in weight, size and possibly with a similar maximum torque while NA.

Yeah, I agree. I think it’s crazy, and kind of neat, but at the same time I’d just get a 600cc bike engine and call it a day. It would make more HP, similar torque, and have a built in manual trans and I wouldn’t have to worry about all the belts and stuff.
